TPS-PEEK [Polyether Ether Ketone]

• PEEK is a crystalline resin with properties that are not found in conventional materials. In particular, it can withstand very high temperatures (continuous use temperature 260°C) and is highly flame resistance, with very low emission of smoke and corrosive gases when buing. PEEK is also unaffected by hot water and chemicals.
• Major application includes semicondurtor and LCD manufacturing equipment parts, testing equipment parts, and medical equipment parts.

■ Features

• Excellent hot water resistance properties allow continuous use in steam of 200 - 260°C. For shorter periods, the material can withstand temperatures up to 300°C This performance is unsurpassed by other plastics.
• Outstanding chemical resistance, in particular to most acid and alkaline substances at high temperatures. However, high concentrated sulfuric acid will permeate the material.
• Continuous use temperature is high at 260°C, but relatively low glass transition temperature of 143°c means that care must be taken regarding use under high-load, high-temperature conditions.
• Highly flame resistance and very low of emission of smoke and toxic gas when buing.
